consider what hath

been sent down aforetime in the Furqán concerning the circumstance of the three shades of darkness, that thine eyes may approach It and attain unto the limits of 33 which all strive to achieve in their search. And ye, O servants, know thou of a truth, that when the Verdant Bahá becometh related unto the Day Spring of Eternity with the Source of this Water, He shall not incline toward It, nor shall He drink therefrom as the Spirit shall turn a Him away from Himself and toward the right hand of the Glorious Beloved, for He doth not desire Eternity in the kingdom of Himself, and He expendeth His spirit and the words belonging unto Him upon all who dwelleth in the heavens and on the earth. This love for God, the King, the Help in Peril, the Most Powerful, the Praiseworthy, is that which He hath chosen for Himself.
