We see among you one who takes the Book and proves God from it just as each religion has proved God from its own book, God the Overseer, the Self-Subsistent One. Say: By God, the True One, the books of the world and the volumes that are in it will not suffice you to-day except this Book, which speaks in the Axis (qutb) [note 1] of Innovation, saying, "There is no god besides Me, the Wise, the Knower."
