Beware lest you prevent from your hearts the breath of God by which the hearts of those who turn to Him are made to live. So listen to what We have counselled you in this Tablet, that God may hear from you and open before your faces the gates of mercy; verily He is the All-Merciful, the Most Merciful. Fear God, O kings, and do not transgress the bounds of God; then follow what you have been commanded in the Book and be not of those who overstep. Beware lest you wrong anyone by even the weight of a mustard seed, and walk in the path of justice; verily it is a straight path. Then set right what is between you, and reduce your armies, that your expenditures may be less and you may be among those at ease.
