Strive that perhaps you may bring a soul into the path of the All-Merciful. This is mentioned among the most excellent of deeds in the sight of the Self-Sufficient, the Most Exalted. Be steadfast in the divine command in such wise that nothing may prevent you from the service to which you are appointed, even though all on earth rise up in opposition and dispute. Be like the winds in the cause of Him Who cleaveth the dawn: as you observe, the winds, with regard to their appointed task, pass over the ruined and the inhabited; they are neither gladdened by the inhabited nor saddened by the ruined, but keep their gaze upon their appointed duty. The loved ones of God, too, must look to the essence of the Cause and occupy themselves with proclaiming it.
