They should not stretch out their hand toward the property of the Jews, much less when the Truth has appeared, calling people to truthfulness and purity, to piety and trustworthiness, to submission and contentment, to gentleness and forbearance, to wisdom and piety, and adorning all with the reward of praiseworthy morals and holy deeds. Say: Have mercy on yourselves and on others, and do not defile the command of God—which is sanctified by the very essence of holiness—with impure, unseemly conjectures and delusions.
