Leave what you have and take what God has commanded you, then seek bounty from Him; indeed, this is a straight path. Then turn to us and to what has afflicted us of hardship and distress, and do not neglect us for even an instant. Then judge between us and our enemies with justice; indeed, this is a manifest good. Thus do we recount to you from our stories and what has been decreed upon us, so that you may remove the evil from us. Whoever wills, let him remove it; and whoever does not will—indeed, my Lord is the best supporter and helper.
