Generous one, but you will not succeed in that, for you have been occupied with yourself—your soul and your body—with the ornaments of this world until the spirit departs from you. Then you will know what We have cast upon you, and you will find your deeds in the Book, in which not even an atom of the deeds of all creation has been left out. So seek counsel by my counsel, then listen to my words with the ear of your heart and do not be heedless of my words, and do not be among those who turn away. Do not boast of what you have been given; rather, look to what has been sent down in the Book of God, the Sovereign, the Mighty: “When they forgot what they were reminded of, We opened to them the gates of all things,” just as the gates of the world have been opened for you and for those like you.
