Do not drive away those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His countenance. You have opposed the judgment of the Book after considering yourself among the believers. Yet, by God, there was no hatred of you in my heart, nor hatred of anyone among people, even if you were to bring upon us what none of the monotheists could bear. My affair is only with God, and my reliance is only upon Him. Your days and the days of those who today are in manifest delusion will pass, and you will be gathered in the presence of God and asked about what you earned with your own hands, and you will be recompensed for it—so wretched is the abode of the wrongdoers. By God, if you were to look into what you have done, you would weep for yourself, flee to God, and cry out during your days until God forgives you, for He is most generous.
