You are eager to amass adornments for yourselves after the time has passed you by and the opportunity has gone; so wake up, O assembly of the heedless. Listen to what this servant advises you for the sake of God; he wants nothing from you, and he is content with what God has decreed for him and will be among the content. O people, most of your days have passed, and only a few numbered days remain. So leave what you have taken from your own selves; then take hold of God’s ordinances with strength, that you may reach what God has intended for you and be among the rightly guided. And do not rejoice in what you have.
