Then look at what was sent down in another place and perhaps you will leave what you have and come to God, the Lord of the Worlds. He said: Joining together (al-iqtiran) is not lawful unless it is in al- Bayan. [note 1] And if one (not of al-Bayan) enters (into marriage with a Babi) the properties belonging to the other (the Babi) become unlawful for him, unless he returns. This (will go into effect) after the rising up of the Cause of One whom We manifest in truth, or what has been manifested in justice. That has been accepted.
