This is what is mentioned in the prophetic tradition: "Every newborn is born upon the primordial nature," and so on. And this primordial nature is indeed the primordial nature of God, and this position is true as long as one remains steadfast in the shadow of faith. After changing, one is considered among the polytheists, as the rest of the tradition says: "It is their parents who make them Jews, Magians, or Christians."
