Line 1: Line 1:
And we have commanded you in most of the Tablets that you do not oppose [409] anyone, and you did what caused his harm to the Sidra of Exalted Glory. O people, fear God and do not transgress what you have been commanded in the Tablets! And this is better for you than what you have if you are of the knowers. If they shun those who disbelieve and associate partners with God and argue with His signs and fight against Himself, the Most High, the Mighty. Then be patient as we have been patient and do not fight with any of the polytheists! Put your trust in God in all matters, and He will help me as He helped me the first time, when I was in prison under chains and shackles, and He will help me with truth through the armies of the heavens and the earth, until He removes me from it with clear authority. In His grasp is the dominion of all things, He helps whom He wills as He wills, and He is the Powerful, the Powerful.
Beware, O people, of clinging to names and objecting to Him who created them by order of Him. There is no god but He, the Powerful, the Knowing, the Wise. Say: He created the names as He created everything. You are of the worlds. Every possessor of power is helpless under the authority of his power, and every possessor of knowledge is ignorant before his knowledge, and every possessor of riches is poor before his door which has been opened to the face of all creatures. Don't let the names keep you away from their source. Avoid those who clung to it and were devoted to it! Say: The Prophet is he who hears my news and believes in my soul, the Messenger[410] is he who conveys my messages, the imam is he who rises before my face and wins my days, the guardian is he who enters the fortress of my state and is cut off from me, and the trustee is he who entrusts himself, then the servants with my love And remembrance and duality. Likewise, the sun of eloquence shone on the horizon of the will of your Lord, the Most Merciful, in this holy, abstaining, exalted, impenetrable pleasure. Praise be to God, my beloved and the beloved of those who know.
