So know, and then recognize that monotheism (Tawhid) has various levels, realms, and stations which no one knows about except Allah the Almighty, the Mighty, the Beautiful. If I were to detail for you the knowledge that Allah has bestowed upon me in this regard, the tablets (al-Alwah) would not be able to bear it, nor would the seas be sufficient if they were made into ink for these exalted, mighty, generous words. This is because there is no limit to the bounty of Allah and there is no hindrance to His command. It is He who has detailed from the primal point the knowledge of what has been and what will be, if you are among those who know. He will detail in the pattern of this point the knowledge which no one has ever heard, and no one will ever know of it among the worlds. Say,'If He were to fold up all the sciences of what He has detailed in the realm, from the time when there was no time, He could do it in the blink of an eye, for there is no god but He, the Sovereign, the Almighty, the All-powerful. In His grasp are the dominions of the king of the heavens and the earth. He erases what He wills with His command and establishes what He wills with His power. With Him is the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Quds), the Guardian. Say,'Indeed, He is the One who has always been sanctified above all that you know, and He brings forth knowledge in all matters with marvelous wisdom.' Say,'Indeed, the essence of Tawhid and determination is with Him, equal in limit, but most people lie on the bed of ignorance, asleep.' Say,'If He were to erase the signs of Tawhid and judge by determination, this would be the manifest truth, and no one has the right to say why or how because the matter is what appears from Him and the judgment is what is decreed by Him, and He is the Almighty, the All-powerful.
