The Surah of the Sacrificed One was revealed from the right of the Throne. O Sacrificed One, in most of the divine Tablets revealed from the Pen of Command, We enjoined all the loved ones of God not to soil the sacred hem with the clay of forbidden deeds and the dust of rejected morals. Likewise, We enjoined them to look unto what has been revealed in the Tablets. Had they hearkened with the ear of the soul to the divine counsels that shone forth from the Dayspring of the Pen of the All-Merciful, and attained unto listening thereto, thou wouldst now behold most of all that is in existence adorned with the robe of guidance; but what was decreed came to pass. Now, once again, in this white page the Tongue of the Ancient One, in this Most Great Prison, speaketh: O beloved of the True One, hasten from the narrow wilderness of self and desire unto the holy realms of divine oneness, and take refuge in the garden of sanctity and purity, that, through the fragrances of deeds, all created things may turn toward the shores of the glory of the One. Never is it permissible to speak of the affairs of the world and what pertaineth thereto, and of its outward leaders. The True One, exalted and mighty, hath entrusted the outward kingdom to kings; it is not permissible for anyone to commit an act contrary to the judgment of the rulers of the realm. And that which He hath desired for Himself hath been the cities of the hearts of His servants.
