Their comfort and the recognizing and knowing of the ways of it: the prophets are like physicians who have devoted themselves to nurturing the world and its people, so that they may find a remedy, through the cure of unity, for the illness of estrangement. In the deeds and conduct of a physician there is no place for talk, for he is aware of the condition of the body and its illnesses, and never will the bird of the insight of the people of the earth reach the height of his sky of knowledge. Therefore, if they do not see the physician’s conduct today as the same as in the past, there is no place for talk, for each day the patient deserves a different method; likewise the prophets of God, whenever they made the world shine with the radiant sun of brilliant knowledge, guided the people—according to what was fitting for that day—toward the One God.
