Those who have been given insights from God see the bounds of God as the greatest cause for the order of the world and the preservation of nations; but he who is heedless—he is of the rabble of the ignorant. We have commanded you to break the boundaries of self and desire, not what has been inscribed by the Most Exalted Pen. It is the spirit of the animal nature for those within the realm of possibility. The seas of wisdom and exposition have surged with the stirring of the breath of the All-Merciful. Seize the opportunity, O people of understanding. Truly, those who have broken God’s covenant in His commands and turned back on their heels—those are among the people of error before the Self-Sufficient, the Most High. O concourse of the earth, know that My commands are the lamps of My care among My servants and the keys of My mercy for My creation.
