O servant who sought God’s good pleasure and His love after all had turned away from His beauty except a few of those endowed with insight—may God, of His bounty, reward you with a good reward, abiding and everlasting, for what you desired on a day when eyes were bewildered. Then know that were we to cast upon you a mere sprinkling of what has been sprinkled upon us from the droplets of the seas of decree at the hands of those possessed of rancor and hatred, you would weep and wail evening and morning. Would that we might find on earth a fair-minded, discerning person to recognize what has been made manifest in this Manifestation of God’s sovereignty and power, and to remind people purely for the sake of God, in secret and in public, that people may arise and aid this wronged one who has been afflicted at the hands of these wicked ones.
