Whoever recites the verses of God in his home, alone, so that their breaths may spread—the scattering angels will carry them to every direction, and by them every sound soul is transformed, even if he does not sense it within himself; yet this grace will appear upon him one day. Thus were the hidden matters decreed by One mighty and wise: O Khalil, by God, then the Pen moves upon the Tablet, yet it weeps and cries within itself, and the lamp before the Throne clamors with it at what has come upon the Beauty of the Ancient One from those who were sent by a will from Him. And God is witness and all-knowing of that.
