Consider what the cause of these deeds was, that they would act in such a manner toward the Manifestations of the Beauty of the Lord of Glory; and whatever in those times was the cause of the turning away and disregard of those servants is now likewise the cause of the heedlessness of these servants. And if we were to say that the divine proofs were not complete and perfect, and for that reason the servants objected—this is manifest unbelief, for it is far removed from the grace of the All-Bountiful and distant from the outspread mercy, that He should choose a soul from among all the servants for guidance.
