Exalted be His glory: He has taken nothing for Himself—neither does the obedience of the world bring Him any profit, nor does its abandonment cause Him any loss. At every moment the birds of the heavenly kingdom of utterance proclaim this word: “All have I desired for thee, and thee for Mine own sake.” If the divines of the age would allow it, and those on earth were to perceive the fragrance of love and unity, then would the souls of the wise become aware of true freedom; they would behold rest upon rest, and tranquillity upon tranquillity. If the earth be illumined by the lights of the sun of this station, then indeed it would be true to say: “We see therein neither crookedness nor unevenness...”
